Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions for Purchases at Ivorie Archive AS
("Ivorie Archive", "we", "us", "our")

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made on Ivorie Archives website.
The seller and contracting party is Ivorie Archive AS, a Norwegian limited company with organisation number 937 942 834 MVA and business address Eilert Sundts gate 14B, 0259 Oslo, Norway.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms do not limit your rights under Norwegian consumer protection law.

2. Pricing and Taxes
All prices displayed on our website are in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT. The shipping cost is shown at checkout before you complete your order.
We may change prices at any time, but price changes do not affect orders already placed.

3. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by Norwegian law. As a consumer, you may always bring legal proceedings before the court where you live.

4. Payment
The total purchase amount will be charged when the order is completed at checkout.
We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as other secure payment options provided on our website.

5. Delivery
Delivery is considered complete when the goods are made available for pickup or delivered to the address specified at checkout. The risk for the goods passes to you at delivery.
We aim to dispatch all orders promptly; estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. If delivery is delayed, you have rights under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act (forbrukerkjøpsloven).

6. Returns and Right of Withdrawal
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven). We have voluntarily extended this to 15 days from the day you receive the goods. You do not need to give a reason.

  • To withdraw, notify us by email at hello@ivoriearchive.com, or use our withdrawal form, before returning the goods.
  • The goods must be sent back no later than 14 days after you have notified us. Please return them in their original packaging where possible.
  • You pay the cost of return shipping and may choose how to send the goods. If you wish, we can provide a prepaid return label for NOK 69, which is deducted from your refund. No other fees apply.
  • We refund the full purchase price, including the standard shipping cost, no later than 14 days after receiving your notice of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or you have shown that they have been sent.
  • You may examine the goods as you would in a physical shop. If the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to determine their nature, characteristics and function, we may deduct an amount corresponding to the reduction in value.

7. Defects and Complaints
If a product is defective, the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act applies. You can complain up to 2 years after receiving the product, or up to 5 years for products intended to last substantially longer. You must notify us within a reasonable time after discovering the defect; a complaint made within two months is always considered timely.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to:

  • Repair or replacement of the product
  • A price reduction
  • Cancellation of the purchase if the defect is not insignificant
  • Compensation for losses caused by the defect

Please send complaints by email to hello@ivoriearchive.com with your order number and, if possible, a photo of the defect. Complaints are free of charge, and we cover return shipping for justified complaints.

8. Seller's Rights in Case of Buyer's Breach
If the buyer fails to pay or otherwise breaches the agreement, and this is not due to the seller, Ivorie Archive may:

  • Retain the goods
  • Demand fulfilment of the agreement
  • Cancel the order
  • Claim compensation for losses incurred

We may charge statutory late payment interest on overdue amounts. If you fail to collect an unpaid order, we may charge a fee covering no more than our actual costs.

9. Data Protection
Ivorie Archive AS is the data controller for personal data collected in connection with purchases, and processes personal data in accordance with the Norwegian Personal Data Act and the GDPR.
We collect and store only the information necessary to fulfil your order, improve our services, and comply with legal obligations.
Personal data will not be shared with third parties except when required by law or necessary to complete the transaction.
For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

10. Dispute Resolution
We encourage customers to contact our customer service first at hello@ivoriearchive.com to resolve any issues amicably.
If we cannot reach an agreement, you may contact the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) for free mediation. Disputes not resolved there may be brought before the Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget).
